Meet Dave Buckley
Hi, I'm Dave — and skiing isn't just something I love, it's the core of my life. Some of my favorite days on the mountain have been with my wife, Meghan — who’s not only my partner in life, but also my business partner — and the amazing friends we've met through the years. Skiing has shaped where I live, who I spend time with, and what I do every day. For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of co-owning Valley Bike and Ski Werks in Hadley, MA, and now, I’m chasing a dream I’ve held for years: to open a ski shop like no other. A community hub. A place that’s fun, welcoming, and rooted in good vibes — where friends, families, and fellow ski lovers can gather, gear up, and feel right at home. This new space is more than just a store. It’s a thoughtfully curated shop run by people who live and breathe skiing — a place inspired by the spirit of our friends at J Skis in Burlington. Think of it as your off-the-mountain home base. With over 30 years in the ski business, I’m excited to bring that experience into a space built for skiers, by skiers. So here’s to making dreams happen — and to all of you who are part of this ride.

Meet Meghan Buckley
Hi, I'm Meghan! Like many of you, skiing has become a central part of our family life. I didn’t grow up on skis — I actually learned in my early 20s — but over the years, I’ve truly fallen in love with the sport. I’ve spent time refining my technique, demoing different skis, and pushing myself to explore all kinds of terrain — from our home slopes in Vermont to the mountains out West and even across Europe. My passion for the outdoors goes well beyond skiing — I love snowshoeing, cycling, hiking, spending time walking through the woods and pretty much anything that gets me outside and moving. I’m excited to share that passion with our friends, our community, and new customers who stop by the shop. And I’m also a new mom! As someone raising a little one in a small town, I’d love to connect with other moms of toddlers who are up for adventures, playdates, and making fun memories with their kiddos.
